The Fluke P3022-P Gas Dual Deadweight Tester – With Pump is available in three models with varying pressure/ vacuum ranges and measurement units. For further information, please see the table below.
Product Code | Product Name | Pressure Range | Vacuum Range |
P3022-KPA-P | Fluke P3022-KPA Gas Dual Deadweight Tester Vac/Pressure to100 kPa - With Pump | 1.5 to 100 kPa | 3 to 100 kPa |
P3022-MBAR-P | Fluke P3022-MBAR Gas Dual Deadweight Tester, Vac/Pressure to 1000 mbar - With Pump | 15 to 1000 mbar | 30 to 1000 mbar |
P3022-INH2O-P | Fluke P3022-INH20 Gas Dual Deadweight Tester, Vac/Pressure to 400 inH2O - With Pump | 5 to 400 inH2O | 1 to 30 in Hg |
The Fluke P3022-P Gas Dual Deadweight Tester is optimised for calibrating pressure sensing instruments, such as transducers, transmitters, gauges and pressure switches, with ranges both within and below atmospheric pressure.
This instrument is able to generate both vacuum and pressure via an external source. A vacuum pump or gas supply may be attached to its /NPT female port. Alternatively, this version includes an integrated hand pump allowing the user to produce pressure up to 300psi and a vacuum to 90% without an external source. A high-quality needle is included on this instrument, facilitating the user's ability to make fine adjustments to the pressure or vacuum produced.
Due to the Fluke P3022-P Gas Dual Deadweight Tester’s test-station design with O-rings, and the inclusion of 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 NPT and BSP adapters, and M20 and M14 metric adapters, PTFE tape and/or wrenches are not required when attaching additional instruments to the tester. In addition to these adapters, the Fluke P3022-P Gas Dual Deadweight Tester is also supplied with spare seals, a removable lid and an ISO 17025 accredited calibration certificate.
Accuracy is at the forefront of this instrument’s design, as such it includes adjustable feet and a mounted spirit level ensuring that it can be set-up in a variety of environments without compromising its accuracy. In addition to this, it features a piston and cylinder assembly optimised to maintain the Fluke P3022-P’s stability and durability whilst minimising the effects of distortion and thermal coefficients. This assembly has been constructed in accordance with the highest standards and so includes certified accuracies traceable to international standard laboratories, such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
In addition to this, Fluke P3022-P Gas Dual Deadweight Tester is calibrated to standard gravity (980.665cm/S²); however this instrument can be calibrated to the user’s local gravity, thereby accounting for the effect of this force on the weight masses and improving the accuracy of this instrument from 0.015% to 0.008%.
The weight masses used to counterbalance the upward force of the pneumatic pressure generated are accurately calibrated and inscribed with the nominal pressure value relative to the high- or low-pressure piston. They are also inscribed with the instrument’s serial number and are made from non-magnetic, austenitic, stainless steel. In order to determine the final pressure value, the nominal values inscribed on each weight mass (as mentioned above) are combined. For further information regarding this method, please see the video below.
Finally, the weight masses can be stored in a secure, robust weight box, allowing them to be easily transported between worksites.
The Fluke P3022-P Gas Dual Deadweight Tester – With Pump is a practical, versatile, adaptable instrument suitable for calibrating a wide variety of pressure sensing tools with ranges both below and within atmospheric pressure.
