The Fluke P3011 Vacuum Deadweight Tester can be used to calibrate and test pressure sensing instruments (such as transducers, transmitters, gauges and pressure switches) designed to measure pressures below atmospheric pressure.
This instrument is designed to generate a vacuum with the help of an external vacuum pump which may be connected to the Fluke P3011 Vacuum Deadweight Tester via its /NPT port. This model include a high-quality needle that facilitates fine vacuum adjustments and have a standard accuracy of 0.015% of the reading, this can be improved to 0.008%, please see below for further details.
The Fluke P3011 Vacuum Deadweight Tester has been optimised to provide the user with the most accurate readings possible. Its cylinder and piston with floatation indicator have been carefully constructed from materials designed to increase stability and durability whilst lowering distortion and thermal coefficients. They have been constructed to the highest standards and as such have certified accuracies traceable to international standard laboratories such as the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
Further to this, the Fluke P3011 Vacuum Deadweight Tester is supplied with an ISO 17025 accredited calibration certificate and is calibrated to Standard Gravity (980.665 cm/s²). However, it is possible to calibrate this instrument to the user’s local gravity, thereby accounting for the force exerted on the weights by gravity, and subsequently improving the accuracy of the tester. For further information regarding this option, please contact our sales team before purchase.
The Fluke P3011 Vacuum Deadweight Tester – No Pump is also supplied with spare seals, adapters for 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 NPT and BSP connections and metric adapters for M20 and M14 connections, as well as stainless steel vacuum weight masses marked with the serial number of the instrument and the nominal vacuum value.
In terms of its practicality, the Fluke P3011 Vacuum Deadweight Tester has been designed with portability in mind. To this end, it is supplied with a detachable lid allowing it to be easily transported between worksites. Moreover, the weight masses are stored in a high-quality case with a self-locking mechanism which also ensures that they can be easily and safely transported.
With regard to its assembly, this instrument’s test station design with a mounted spirit level and adjustable feet mean that it may be used in a variety of environments without compromising its accuracy or efficiency. In addition to this, the inclusion of O-rings removes the need for PTFE tape or wrenches when connecting adapters and/or additional instruments, again improving the ease-of-use and efficiency of this tester.
The Fluke P3011 Vacuum Deadweight Tester – Without Pump is an adaptable, practical and accurate instrument, ideal for calibrating pressure modules with ranges below atmospheric pressure.
