The Pro3000 Analogue Kit traces and identifies wires in non-active networks. It includes SmartTone technology, which provides five distinct tones. By momentarily shorting the far end of a cable pair, technicians can hear a tone change through the probe, confirming the correct wires.
The powerful speaker provides the probe with audibility through drywall, wood, and enclosures, ensuring quick and accurate wire location. The tone generator can send a strong signal up to 10 miles (16 km) on most cables.
