Quickly, easily, and clearly test PoE-based communication cabling. The Fluke Networks MicroScannner Cable Verifiers ascertain the maximum power class the switch can provide under:
The Fluke Networks MicroScanner PoE Cable Verifier will also determine the 802.3 PoE class (class 0-8). As a result, technicians can identify issues that may be affecting PoE-based installations. The Fluke Networks MicroScanner Cable Verifiers VDV service detection means it can verify present-day media services including 10/100/1000 Ethernet, POTS, and PoE; while multimedia support ensures they can test common media types including RJ11, RJ45, Coax (Microscanner 2 ONLY) without adapters. In addition to this, IntelliTone digital and analogue toning facilitates the tracing of most cable and wire pairs.
A strong magnetic strap protects the Fluke Networks MicroScanner Cable Verifiers from potential drops and accidents and allows technicians to keep their hands-free enabling swifter, safer testing. Data is visible on the large, backlit display which remains easy to read in all lighting conditions from bright sunlight to darkness. The graphical wiremap, length, cable ID, and distance to fault is displayed on one screen. Moreover, navigating the Fluke Networks MicroScanner Cable Verifiers is easy due a straightforward interface.
The Fluke Networks MicroScanner PoE Cable Verifier is the perfect tool for network engineers investigating potential switch configurations and malfunctions. It will quickly determine whether a problem is caused by a bad or unconnected cable; insufficient power; or a Powered Device (PD).
To this end, the Fluke Networks MicroScanner PoE Cable Verifier includes Active Switch Detection to determine if a cable is connected to a switch port and to ascertain port speed up to 10G, allowing you to assess whether your network can perform to your needs. The Fluke Networks MicroScanner PoE Cable Verifier also provides information on available services up to 10G. Additionally, cable testing allows you to find shorted, open, or crossed wires at both ends, as well as determine the length of each pair, and send tones to find cables.
Furthermore, the Fluke Networks MicroScanner PoE Cable Verifier graphically identifies powered pairs including dual signatures where the switch port delivers power on 2 or 4 pairs (802.3bt or PoE++). The Fluke Networks MicroScanner PoE Cable Verifier will also display the injector voltage level.
A basic, cost-effective tester, the Fluke Networks MicroScanner Cable Verifiers are ideal for technicians wanting to confirm the PoE being offered.
