Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Test Adapter imitates an electric vehicle to stimulate a charging cycle (activates voltage/current output). It can be used with Fluke’s 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester or oscilloscopes, such as the 120B Series, to check the safety and functionality of EV charging stations according to IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-222.
There are three versions of the Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Test Adapter available: one without plugs; one with a type-2 plug; and one with a type-1 plug and a type-2 plug. Please see the table below for further details.

When used with a compatible multifunction tester or oscilloscope, the Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Test Adapter can conduct the following tests/simulations:
- PE Pre-Test: a safety feature designed to check the PE conductor for the presence of dangerous voltage against the earth
- Proximity Pilot (PP) State: this cable simulation function can imitate the various current capabilities of charging cables
- Control Pilot (CP) State: different charging states of electric vehicles can be simulated using this function
- Phase Indication: three LEDs indicate if the voltage is present at the charging output
In addition to this, the Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Test Adapter includes terminals for CP signal output, allowing you to check the communication between the adapter (imitating an electric vehicle) and the charging station. Furthermore, L1, L2, L3, N, and PE measuring terminals enable connections to Fluke measurement instruments facilitating further safety and functional tests.
The IP54-rated Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Test Adapter is an adaptable, reliable, and practical instrument for verifying the safety and functionality of electric vehicle charging stations.
