Fluke's EI-162BN 320 mm Split Core Transformer is used as a selective clamp for ground loop resistance measurement around or adjacent to power pylons. This clamp has an inner diameter of 12.6 inches (320 MM) and it includes a split-core transformer which can be used with the Fluke 1625 kit or the Fluke 1623 kit. If you do not have the full kit version, a GEOX Probe cable may be purchased separately.
The Fluke EI-162BN 320 mm Split Core Transformer includes the following:

- One cable bobbin with two 40-foot (12 meter) test leads for connecting the transformer to a tester's jack
- One contact clamp for establishing Earth ground electrode connection point on a transmission line pylon
The cable bobbin has both female red and blue leads that plug into the male red and blue banana plugs on a sensing cable adapter that is used with both the Fluke 1623 and Fluke 1625 for selective resistance measurements. The contact clamp has a 4 millimeter bore that is made to fit a standard banana plug, and the clamp also has a tightening screw for a secure fit. This product weighs in at 17.6 pounds (8 kilograms).
