Its portable, lightweight, compact design, with front and back handles, means that the Fluke 9190A –X–256 Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well can be easily used and transported across a variety of sites. Its USB and RS-232 allow the instrument to be operated remotely from a computer, whilst its comprehensive front panel means that all operations, controls and inputs can be accessed or altered from this point.
This product’s ease-of-use and practical design combined with its lack of heating fluids make it perfect for performing calibrations indoors, as unlike calibration baths there is no risk of spilling potentially dangerous bath fluids.
Its ergonomic design and lack of bath fluids does not compromise on the Fluke 9190A-X-256’s temperature range and speed of operation. It is able to heat up and cool down quicker than traditional calibration baths and has a temperature range of -95°C - 140°C, making it suitable for pharmaceutical, biomedical and food processing applications. The Fluke 9190A –X–256 Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well features compact, efficient, free piston, Stirling cooler technology (FPSC) which enables desired temperatures to be reached quickly whilst limiting the instrument’s footprint.
In addition to this, the Fluke 9190A –X–256 Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well is highly accurate. It conforms to EURAMET cg-13 guidelines, ensuring that this product’s specifications for accuracy, stability, axial (vertical) uniformity, radial (well-to-well) uniformity, loading and hysterics are precise and have been thoroughly tested. As a result, the Fluke 9190A –X–256 Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well has a full range display accuracy of ±0.2°C and its built-in reference thermometer readout has an accuracy of ±0.05°C across its full range. In addition to this, it also has a full range stability of ±0.015°C and features a stability indicator.
The Fluke 9190A –X–256 Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well will compensate for differences between temperatures across zones and works to minimise the axial temperature gradients. The instrument can also be customised to facilitate the user’s needs, as the Fluke 9190A-X-256 allows the user to set up to eight set-point temperatures and automatically ramps to and ‘soaks’ at each set-point. The user is also able to specify the soak time, the number of cycles and the direction.
The Fluke 9190A –X–256 Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well’s extensive temperature range, high accuracy and stability, as well as its practical design make it suited for on-site validation and calibration of RTDs, thermocouples, thermometers, and sensors used with process control equipment.
