Fluke 9143-X-256 Field Metrology Well with Selectable Disk

The Fluke 9143-X-256 Field Metrology Well has a temperature range of 33°C to 350°C and takes 5 minutes to reach the maximum temperature from 33°C. This product is ideal for temperature calibrating 4-20mA transmitters, simple thermostatic switches, as well as a number of other sensors.  

This product is available in seven models which differ only in regards to their disc inserts. Please see the table below for further information.

All of the above models feature two types of automated thermostatic switch test procedures: auto setup and manual setup. The manual setup enables the user to customise the calibration procedure, for example by adding extra cycles or altering the ramp rate, whilst the auto setup (once the user has entered the nominal switch temperature) will run an automatic 3-cycle calibration procedure and provide the user with a final result for the dead band temperature.

This raw data can then be exported into a calibration report using the included Model 9930 Interface-It Software or is viewable via the large, easy-to-read LCD screen. It is easy to access the Fluke 9143-X-256 Field Metrology Well’s memory, and subsequently its pre-programmed calibration routines, as well as all its inputs, via the front panel which includes function and menu navigation buttons for easy operation. This product even includes a ‘SET PT’ button for the easy and simple entering of block temperature values.

In addition to being easy-to-use and tailorable, the Fluke 9143-X-256 Field Metrology Well is also practical and accurate. Its compact, robust design makes it ideal for field work, and it is particularly well suited for industrial environments.  However, despite its size, this instrument does not compromise on key EA criteria:

To this end, the Fluke 9143-X-256 Field Metrology Well is supplied with IEC-17025 NVLAP accredited calibration certificate, backed by a thorough uncertainty analysis which takes into consideration temperature gradients, loading effects and hysterics. This instrument is also calibrated with high-quality, traceable and accredited PRTs and as a result, this product has a full range display accuracy of ±0.2°C. It also features new control technology which helps to ensure excellent performance in extreme conditions, providing stability from ±0.02°C at 33°C to ±0.03°C at 350°C. Furthermore, each Fluke 9143-X-256 Field Metrology Well is built with a stability indicator.
