The Fluke 9009-X-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator can be used to calibrate up to four temperature probes simultaneously. It is available in two models which differ only in regards to the colour of their casing; please see the table below for further details.
Product Code | Product Name | Casing Colour |
9009-B-256 | Fluke 9009-B-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator - Black | Black |
9009-Y-256 | Fluke 9009-Y-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator - Yellow | Yellow |
Each of the two models includes two temperature blocks: one hot block and one cold block. These blocks are independently controlled via a precision Fluke calibration temperature controller. The hot block can accommodate temperatures from 50 to 350°C, while the cold block has a range of-15 to 110°C, giving the Fluke 9009-X-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator a total temperature range of -15 to 350°C.
The temperature blocks each include two wells with removable inserts, facilitating the user’s ability to calibrate four probes simultaneously. Alternatively, he/she may use this instrument to calibrate two probes simultaneously whilst using an external reference thermometer. The user can also take quick ‘zero’ and ‘span’ references for transmitter calibrations using the two temperature wells. These two wells also facilitate the user’s ability to perform comparison calibrations.
The Fluke 9009-X-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator is optimised to perform multiple tasks efficiently. In addition to this, it is also designed to perform calibrations accurately and to this end is supplied with a NIST-traceable calibration for each temperature block. The cold block has an accuracy of ±0.2°C and a stability of ±0.05°C, whilst the hot block has an accuracy of ±0.6° and a stability of ±0.05°C.
Adding to its accuracy as well as its durability is the Fluke 9009-X-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator’s airtight and watertight, robust Pelican™ casing. The compact, lightweight design of this dry-well calibrator also adds to its practicality; moreover, despite its ergonomic size, it is able to accommodate a power cord and four additional inserts. Please note that a number of additional inserts are available ensuring that the Fluke 9009-X-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator can be used to calibrate sensors of sizes ranging from 1/16” (1.6mm) to 7/16” (11.1mm).
The Fluke 9009-X-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator is supplied with four removable inserts as standard (2x inserts with hole diameters of 6.4mm and 2x inserts with hole diameters of 4.8mm). Each instrument is also supplied with Fluke’s Model 9930 Interface-It Software allowing the user to control and monitor temperatures remotely from his/her PC. This software work’s with the calibrator’s RS-232 interface; this interface also allows it to integrate into automated systems.
The Fluke 9009-X-256 Industrial Dual-Block Dry-Well Thermometer Calibrator is a durable, portable, multi-functional and reliable temperature calibrator.
