The Fluke 7526A Precision Process Calibrator can be used to calibrate the following components:
- RTD and thermocouple readouts
- Pressure gauges
- Temperature transmitters
- Digital process simulators
- Data loggers
- Multimeters
The Fluke 7526A Precision Process Calibrator is able to calibrate the above modules and instruments as a result of its extensive capabilities. It is able to simulate and measure nine types of RTDs and thirteen types of thermocouples. In addition to this, it can source between 0 and 100V of DC voltage and is able to measure DC voltage between 0 and 100V to an accuracy of 0.004% of the reading. Furthermore, this instrument can source 0 to 100mA of DC current and can measure DC current between 0 and 50mA to an accuracy of 0.01%. Adding to its sourcing capabilities is its ability to issue a 24V DC loop power supply, whilst its ability to measure 4-20mA loop current extends its measurement capabilities.
As well as the above, the Fluke 7526A Precision Process Calibrator can be used with Fluke’s 700 or 525A-P Pressure Modules in order to measure pressure to within 0.008% of the determined pressure value. The Fluke 7526A Precision Process Calibrator also accepts ITS-90 coefficients allowing it to take accurate SPRT (Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers) measurements.
This instrument is also compatible with Fluke's MET/CAL® Software (NOT included) which allows the user to monitor measurements and reports, as well as conduct automated calibration procedures.
In addition to conducting automated calibration procedures using the MET/CAL® Software, the Fluke 7526A Precision Process Calibrator also includes an automated switch-test function.
In order to facilitate all the Fluke 7526A Precision Process Calibrator’s measurement capabilities, it includes a number of physical features, including:
- Isolated pressure module input: automatically detects the type and value of the Fluke 700 Pressure Module connected
- DC voltage, current and switch-test input and 24V DC power supply
- Thermocouple input and output terminal
- Two-wire RTD/Ω output terminal
- Four-wire RTD/Ω input terminals
- Isolated input controls: HART key activates a 250Ω loop resistor facilitating the HART device's ability to read a digital HART signal superimposed onto the 4-20mA loop current
- Primary input and output controls
- Cursor controls
This conveniently designed pressure calibrator is ideal for the benchtop calibration of a variety of temperature and process pressure equipment. The Fluke 7526A Precision Process Calibrator is a versatile, accurate, ergonomic and cost-effective instrument.
