Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator Description
The Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator is a simple-to-use, precise and portable pressure calibrator optimised for process technicians. In addition to sourcing, controlling and measuring pressure, the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator is capable of sourcing, simulating and measuring mA, measuring mA with 24V loop power, measuring VDC and taking temperatures (OPTIONAL RTD probe required).
This practical pressure calibrator is simple to use and provides fast, accurate results. The Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator includes an electric pump capable of generating and regulating pressure up to 300 psi automatically. The user needs only enter the maximum pressure and the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator will pump to the specified value.
The Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator stabilises the pressure at the specified value/ values and features automatic internal fine pressure adjustment for compensating for minor leaks in hoses and test setups.
Additionally, the user can complete a test template to perform multiple-point pressure calibration tests for particular transmitters and switches. The Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator will record each applied pressure and the subsequent mA and % error for each test point; the user only has to enter the first and last pressure as well as the number of test points and the tolerance level. When anomalous results are detected, they are indicated in red on the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator’s bright, graphical display.
Expanding the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator’s scope-for-use is its HART communication which facilitates the testing of HART smart transmitters. It enables:
- mA output trim
- Trimming to applied values
- Pressure zero trimming of HART pressure transmitters
- Light HART configuration: changing transmitter tags, measurement units and ranging
- Troubleshooting: fix mA outputs
- Reading device configuration and variables
- Reading device diagnostics
In addition to this, the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator’s ability to source and simulate mA signals allows the user to test I/Ps and mA loop devices. It can also measure mA signals on transmitter outputs and includes a 24V loop power supply for testing and powering transmitters during standalone tests (separate from the control system).
As the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator is Fluke Connect® enabled it is able to log results and events to the user’s smartphone or tablet (with the Fluke Connect® App installed) wirelessly. This allows the user to monitor pressure calibrations remotely. Measurements and events can be shared with colleagues via email and ShareLive™ video calls. For a brief overview of Fluke Connect®, please see the following video.
The Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator also includes a number of practical features designed to expand its scope-for-use. It is rugged and 1m drop-tested making it suitable for use in challenging environments. Additionally, it is compatible with Fluke’s 700 and 750 series Pressure Modules; as a result, the Fluke 729FC's pressure range can be altered as required. Moreover, the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator supports multiple languages (please note that HART communications are limited to English) allowing the user to tailor the tester to his/her requirements.
Finally, the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator is supplied with a semi-rigid carrying case with the capacity to store the pressure calibrator as well as test hoses, fittings, test leads and small hand tools.
The Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator is a portable, precise and practical pressure calibrator optimised for providing fast, accurate results.
