PLEASE NOTE: the models listed above do not have wireless capabilities and so they cannot be connected to Fluke Connect®. For pressure calibrators with this capability, please see the Fluke 729FC Automatic Pressure Calibrator with Wi-Fi for Fluke Connect®, available here.
The Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator can be used for the comprehensive calibration of pressure instruments. It includes an electric pump for automatic pressure creation and maintenance. Each model is able to produce pressure to the maximum value within its range, for example, the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator 20 bar can produce pressure up to 300 psi.
This instrument is easy to use, the operator need only enter the desired pressure value and the calibrator will automatically generate pressure to this value.
Moreover, the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator performs leak tests in order to verify test setups; if it should detect a minor leak in a test hose it will automatically compensate for this by adjusting the pressure generated. This eliminates the need for the manual adjustment of test setups and the need for the user to generate pressure adjustments through physical pumping or turning a vernier.
Furthermore, this sophisticated instrument can be programmed to test the device-under-investigation at multiple points. In order to do this, the user fills out a test template on the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator, detailing the start and end point and as many test points as are required. The Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator will then complete these tests and record the applied pressure, the measured mA and % error for each test point. If the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator detects abnormal or out-of-tolerance results it will indicate these to the user via the bright, graphical, dual/triple channel, colour display.
The Fluke 729 is able to measure, source and simulate current signals between 4 and 20mA, ensuring that the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator can be used to test I/Ps and mA loop modules. This calibrator can also generate a 24V loop power supply optimised for powering transmitters during standalone tests in which the transmitter is disconnected from the control system.
In addition to this, the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator contains a HART communication feature for testing HART smart transmitters. It can perform the following operations:
When using the HART communication function all commands are in English, however, all other menu options can be displayed in the user’s preferred language.
The extensive measurement capabilities and versatility of this meter are not limited to its internal ranges and functions. It can be used with Fluke’s 700 and 750 series Pressure Modules (NOT included) should the user require a different pressure range or resolution. Moreover, the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator is compatible Fluke’s 720RTD Probe (NOT included), which facilitates the calibrator’s ability to measure temperature for the purposes of custody transfer calibrations.
All results collected by the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator may be uploaded to Fluke’s DPCTrack™ Calibration Management Software (NOT included). Using this software, the operator may organise his/her data into reports, as well as created scheduled tests.
Finally, in addition to its adaptability, sophistication and extensive measurement capabilities, the Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator is also rugged and ideal for fieldwork. It features a robust casing and has been drop tested from 1m. Its three-year warranty all but guarantees this product’s longevity, whilst its semi-rigid carrying case not only protects this instrument from the elements but also provides an efficient and practical way for the user to transport test hoses, fittings, test leads and small hand tools.
The Fluke 729 Automatic Pressure Calibrator has been optimised for pressure technicians, it is a practical, adaptable, versatile, sophisticated instrument which is suitable for use in a multitude of challenging environments.
