The Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator is available in three models with different pressure ranges. For further information regarding the models available, please see the following table.
Product Code | Product Range | Range | Resolution | Accuracy |
FLUKE 718EX 30G |
Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator - 2 bar |
-830 mbar to 2 bar (internal sensor) Over pressure: 3x FS |
0.0001 bar | 0.05% FS |
FLUKE 718EX 100G |
Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator - 7 bar |
-830 mbar to 7 bar (internal sensor) Over pressure: 2x FS |
0.001 bar | 0.05% FS |
FLUKE 718EX 300G |
Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator - 20 bar |
-830 mbar to 20 bar (internal sensor) Over pressure: 375 psi, 25 bar |
0.0001 bar | 0.05% FS |
Each of the above models includes an internal sensor that is able to perform pressure measurements to an accuracy of 0.05% over its full range and can display these measurements in the following pressure units:
- PSI
- inH2O
- kPa
- cmH2O
- Bar
- mbar
- kg/cm²
- mmHg
- inHg
Further to this, the Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator features an integrated pressure/ vacuum hand pump with Vernier and bleed valve. It also features a pressure switch test function and can be used with Fluke’s 700PEx Intrinsically Safe Pressure Modules to extend its pressure range. When used with the aforementioned pressure modules, readings acquired by the module are automatically displayed.
Moreover, this calibrator is capable of measuring current to an accuracy of 0.02% and to a resolution of 0.001mA.
In addition to this, the Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator includes a Min/Max hold function, allowing the user to retain the minimum and maximum current or pressure measurement on the screen, giving him/her ample time to record the reading. It is easy to access the Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator’s features and functions via the push-button interface.
This instrument’s compact size and lightweight design add to its ease of use. Further to this, the Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator has been optimised for use in explosion endangered areas and is therefore rugged, reliable and intrinsically safe. It is self-contained and compliant with ATEX II 1G EEx ia IIC T4 standards.
The Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator is a compact, accurate, easy-to-use instrument. It is intrinsically safe and therefore ideal for performing pressure calibration applications in potentially dangerous environments without putting the user’s safety at risk.
