The Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator has a temperature range of -5°C to 125°C and can be used to calibrate temperature sensors of varying shapes and sizes.
To facilitate this versatility, the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator includes a tank with a depth of 140mm (5.5”) and a diameter of 48mm (1.9”), ensuring that sensors of various descriptions can be immersed fully. This instrument is ideal for calibrating liquid-in-glass and bimetal thermometers. In addition to calibrating temperature sensors, the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator includes a contact to calibrate thermal switches.
The Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator can be used with mineral and silicone oil. This calibrator includes a spill-proof lid, allowing it to be transported between worksites whilst already containing the necessary fluid. As the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator features CFC-free refrigeration, it does not require a compressor to generate and maintain the required temperatures within its range. This sophisticated design has reduced the weight and size of the micro bath, making it both easier to carry and transport.
Despite its small size, the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator does not compromise on its performance. This instrument is stable to ±0.03°C (depending on the fluid used) and has a uniformity of ±0.02°C, thereby providing the user with low uncertainties when using a reference thermometer. Should the user elect to perform a quick calibration without a reference thermometer, the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator has an accuracy of ±0.25°C. Please note that the stability, uniformity and accuracy values given are true for the entirety of the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator’s temperature range.
Calibrations can be saved to the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator’s internal eight-point storage memory. Alternatively; the user can connect the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator to his/her PC via the RS-232 port. Using the included Fluke Interface-It software the operator is able to view readings and control temperatures remotely from his/her PC, as well as access and adjust the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator’s features and functions, such as the ramp-rate. In addition to this, the micro bath may also be used in conjunction with Fluke’s MET/ TEMP II Software (NOT included) which again allows the user to take readings and operate the Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator; however, this software also facilitates the user’s ability to generate calibration constants and reference tables.
The Fluke 7102-256 Micro Bath Temperature Calibrator is a compact, lightweight, and reliable instrument and the inclusion of an over-temperature cut-out also ensures that it is safe to use. This instrument is ideal for those requiring the stability and accuracy of a liquid bath, contained in a unit the size of a dry well calibrator.
