Ideal for electrical, HVAC and industrial environments, the Fluke 572-2 is a handheld, portable infrared thermometer with a wide measurement range.
Since this is an IR thermometer the Fluke 572-2 allows users to carry out temperature measurements from a distance without the need to make contact with the surface being tested. A large distance-to-spot ratio of 60:1 built into this IR thermometer means that the device can be used up to 60" away from a target and still carry out measurements over a precise area of just 1", helping to line up shots exactly on smaller components. The 572-2 also comes equipped with dual laser technology which converge at a measurement point for exact measurements.
The temperature range of the 572-2 is from -30 to 900°C (-22 to 1652°F) which makes this product suitable for use in both extremely cold and extremely hot applications. The main screen on the tester will relay an exact temperature measurements when the trigger on the front of the device is pressed and this screen can also relay MAX/MIN/DIF and AVG information as well.
If more accuracy is needed in testing the Fuke 572-2 includes the ability to connect type K temperature probes to the unit for contact-based temperature testing. It also features adjustable emissivity, allowing the unit to be used on various different surface types.
