The Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator has been optimised to calibrate pressure transmitters, transducers and gauges. As such it is able to create, maintain and measure pressure, as well as read the output of the module that is being tested.
The Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator includes an internal, motorised pump which facilitates its ability to generate vacuum or pressure without the need for hand pumping. The maximum pressure achievable using the internal pump is 2MPa (300 psi, 20 bar) and the maximum vacuum is -80kPa. Should the user find he/she needs to fill larger volumes with pressure; the Fluke 3130 may be used with an external gas supply (up to 2MPa) to generate the desired pressure. Furthermore, all created pressures can be finely adjusted using the variable volume.
As well as generating pressure, the Fluke 3130 can be used to measure pressure up to 2MPa (300 psi, 20 bar) to an accuracy of ±0.025% reading+ 0.01%FS. Alternatively, the Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator may be used in conjunction with the Fluke 700P and 750P Pressure Modules in order to improve measurement performance.
In addition to creating and measuring pressure, the Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator can be used to measure and provide current signals between 4 and 20mA, making it suitable for calibrating pressure transducers and transmitters. Its ability to measure voltages between 0 and 30V DC also helps with the calibration of these modules, whilst the Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator’s ability to provide a 24V DC loop power supply makes it suitable for powering transmitters during closed loop calibrations.
Data acquired by the Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator can be logged using Fluke’s Calibration Compass for Pressure Software (NOT included), which may also be used to send instructions to the calibrator. To perform these tasks the user must connect the Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator to a PC using Fluke’s Calibration 700SC Serial Interface Cable Assembly (NOT included).
In terms of this product’s practicality, it includes a rechargeable, NiMH battery which facilitates the calibrator’s ability to perform 100 calibration cycles at 300 psi (when using the internal pump). This battery has an approximate lifespan of fifty hours, ensuring that the user can perform multiple calibrations without needing to recharge the power supply. Alternatively, the Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator may be powered or re-charged using the included universal AC mains adapter.
The Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator is suitable for use in rugged environments as it is built into a robust case, which includes space for storing and transporting the power supply, tests leads and fittings.
The Fluke 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator is a durable, practical and versatile instrument that can be easily adapted to suit many pressure instrument calibration applications.
