The Fluke 287 True-RMS Electronics Logging Multimeter is an industrial logging multimeter that delivers high accuracy, fast troubleshooting, and immediate documentation. Equipped with TrendCapture technology, the Fluke 287 allows you to view data graphically making it quick and easy to spot anomalies. As a result, electricians, contractors, and technicians do not need to download data to a PC to identify a trend. Moreover, a 14x zoom facilitates in-depth data analysis on the Fluke 287 Multimeter; while a large 50 000 count, ¼ VGA display with a white backlight allows you to view multiple data sets simultaneously. Other useful features include adjustable recording and auto-hold thresholds; a Smoothing mode (selectable AC filter); and a Logging function with an expanded memory for unattended monitoring. The Fluke 287 True-RMS Electronics Logging Multimeter can measure true-RMS AC voltage and current, capacitance, and temperature. It includes a Relative mode to remove the test lead resistance from low ohms or capacitance measurements and a Peak Capture mode for recording transients as fast as 250µs.
The Fluke 287 True-RMS Multimeter provides a 0.025% basic DC accuracy and can measure true-RMS AC voltage and current, enabling accurate measurement on complex signals or non-linear loads. This industrial multimeter can measure the following electrical parameters:
Additionally, a Peak Capture function captures transients as fast as 250µs, while the Relative mode removes test lead resistance from low resistance or capacitance readings. Adjustable recording and auto-hold thresholds mean you can specify the percentage change that signifies a new event. Furthermore, Smoothing mode, which includes a selectable AC filter, delivers a more stable reading when the input signal is noisy or fluctuating rapidly.
TrendCapture technology displays logged data graphically, allowing you to spot trends and anomalies quickly and without downloading readings to a PC. TrendCapture’s 14x zoom provides unprecedented data viewing and analysis on the multimeter.
Furthermore, the 287’s Logging function with expanded memory enables unattended monitoring. The Fluke 287 Industrial Multimeter can store up to 15 000 events. Electricians, contractors, and technicians can name and recall these measurements on the Fluke 287. A real-time clock will automatically time stamp saved measurements. The 287’s Logging function combined with its TrendCapture technology facilitates multiple logging sessions without download.
Data is indicated on the Fluke 287 Multimeter’s large 50 000 count, ¼ VGA display with a white backlight. Multiple data sets can be displayed simultaneously. Onboard help screens can also be viewed via the display; these screens will guide you through measurement functions, helping to ensure accurate, error-free measurement.
The Fluke 287 True-RMS Electronics Logging Multimeter is supplied with a limited lifetime warranty from Fluke as well as premium test leads and alligator clips. However, it is also compatible with a range of optional accessories such as:
