Fluke 283FC CAT III 1500V Solar Digital Multimeter Overview

The Fluke 283FC Digital Multimeter is a troubleshooting tool capable of measuring DC voltage up to 1500V. It can also measure AC voltage, AC/DC millivolts, continuity, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and AC/DC VA. When used with the included Fluke A283FC Current Clamp, the Fluke 283 can determine AC/DC current up to 60A. Other useful testing features include a user-defined limit gauge for go/no-go decisions; visual and audible polarity indicators that prevent wiring errors; and a Self-check function. Readings are indicated on the Fluke 283’s backlit LCD; saved to the 283’s internal memory; and may be viewed on a smartphone/tablet via the Fluke Connect App. Both the Fluke 283 and its premium test leads are safety-rated to CAT III 1500 V/ CAT IV 1000 V, ensuring you can work safely at higher voltages. Meanwhile, a hard carrying case protects the Fluke 283 on-site and during transit.

Fluke A283FC CAT III 1500V Solar True-RMS Wireless Current Clamp Overview

The Fluke A283FC Current Clamp is designed for use with the Fluke 283FC Multimeter. It enables measurement of AC/DC current up to 60 A. This combined with a CAT III 1500 V/CAT IV 1000 V safety rating makes it perfect for troubleshooting solar installations, as well as electrical systems and industrial equipment. Thin jaws ensure the Fluke A283 can be installed and enclosed in tight spaces such as combiner boxes, while wireless capability removes the inconvenience of tangled wires and allows electricians/technicians/contractors to take measurements from a safe distance.
