The Fluke 283FC Digital Multimeter is a troubleshooting tool capable of measuring DC voltage up to 1500 V, AC voltage up to 1000 V, resistance, continuity, and capacitance. It is ideal for electricians, contractors, and technicians, working on utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays, wind power, electric railways, or data centres. Offering high accuracy and a user-defined limit gauge, the Fluke 283FC Digital Multimeter makes troubleshooting rapid, precise, and simple. It is safety-rated to CAT III 1500 V/CAT IV 1000 V and includes similarly rated silicone Insert TwistGuard™ test leads enabling you to work safely at higher voltages. Data is indicated on the 283’s bright, backlit LCD screen. Measurements may be saved to the Fluke 283’s integrated memory and viewed on your smartphone/tablet via the Fluke Connect App. This backlit display and illuminated keypad make working in bright- and low-light environments easy. Moreover, the supplied magnetic hanging strap enables hands-free operation while a hard carrying case protects the Fluke 283 in rugged environments and during transit.
Designed to deliver accurate, repeatable results, the Fluke 283FC Digital Multimeter can measure the following electrical parameters:
When used with the Fluke A283FC Wireless Current Clamp, the Fluke 283 can measure current up to 60 A AC/DC, making it suitable for troubleshooting individual strings of modules with greater accuracy.
High-accuracy voltage measurements mean the Fluke 283 is perfect for frontline troubleshooting while a user-defined limit gauge facilitates quick go/no-go decisions. Furthermore, visual and audible polarity indicators prevent wiring errors during testing.
Measurements are saved to the Fluke 283’s internal memory and may be viewed on your smartphone or tablet via the Fluke Connect App. Using the Fluke Connect App you can manage, analyse, and share data.
Both the Fluke 283 and its premium silicone Insert TwistGuard Test Leads are CAT III 1500 V/CAT IV 1000 V safety rated, ensuring you can work safely at higher voltages. In addition, a self-check function helps ensure your multimeter is ready to test.
Data is indicated on a bright, backlit LCD screen. This display, combined with an illuminated keypad, ensures the Fluke 283 Multimeter can be used in bright and low light conditions. Also adding to the Fluke 283’s ease of operation is its magnetic hanging kit, enabling hands-free usage. Finally, the Fluke 283FC Digital Multimeter’s hard carrying case protects it while on site and during transit.
Designed to enhance safety and productivity, the Fluke 283FC Digital Multimeter provides accurate, reliable, and repeatable results.
