Special version of the Fluke 279 FC with an included Fluke iFlex flexible current probe, allowing AC current measurements up to 2500A AC to be performed.
The Fluke 279 FC is a uniquely designed, two-in-one measurement instrument. It's both a true RMS, high accuracy digital multimeter and it's also a thermal imager, with built-in, 80 x 60 pixel thermal image capturing to instantly detect overheating components on electrical systems.
By using the thermal imaging, you'll be able to save time and effort by not testing every component to find the one that's causing the problem. Instead, simply scan, find the overheating part, test with the multimeter and carry out any necessary repairs.
As a digital multimeter, the Fluke 279 FC is always reliable. It can carry out every electrical test you'll need from AC voltage to resistance and continuity and - by using the included iFlex probe - it's possible to test current on even the trickiest conductors. The iFlex probe is entirely flexible; unlike other clamp meters, the cable bends around a conductor, making it possible to measure where other clamp meters simply wouldn't be able to.
This digital multimeter is also Fluke Connect enabled - it can wirelessly interface with your smartphone to send both images and measurements to the free app to create reports, share information with others via email and much more.
