Perfect for testing scenarios in which critical equipment cannot be switched off, such as in hospitals, industrial plants, and factories, the Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro Wire Tracer Kit consists of a signal transmitter and Smart Sensor™ receiver. This wire-tracing set can be used to troubleshoot energised and de-energised wires in residential, commercial, and industrial environments to find, for instance, breaks, opens, and shorts. It is also suitable for identifying breakers and fuses. To this end, the Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro Wire Tracer Kit is safety-rated up to CAT IV 600V and provides protection against overvoltage spikes up to 8000 V.
Fluke 2062R Smart Sensor™ Receiver
Equipped with a patented Smart Sensor™, the Fluke 2062R Smart Sensor™ Receiver makes wire tracing faster and easier. The Smart Senor™ locates energised wires within walls, floors, and ceilings, and displays their positions and orientations on the high-resolution 3.5-inch TFT LCD colour display. Additionally, the tip sensor will issue an audible tone and proves particularly useful when tracing wires in corners, tight spaces, and junction boxes.
Capable of both passive (without the Fluke 200T Transmitter) and active (with the transmitter) tracing, the Fluke 2062R Smart Sensor™ Receiver is a versatile instrument. It can be optimised for various applications using the four operating modes:
- Smart Sensor: for energised wire detection and visualisation
- Tip Sensor: for precise wire detection
- Breaker: uses the highest detected signal to identify breakers and fuses
- Non-Contact Voltage Detection: trace energised wires without using the Fluke 200T Transmitter
The Fluke 2062R Smart Sensor™ Receiver also offers eight sensitivity levels which further improves its flexibility and accuracy.
Fluke 2000T Transmitter
Offering a 6kHz or 33kHz output frequency, the Fluke 2000T Transmitter automatically senses whether the circuit is energised or not and selects the appropriate output. Moreover, the Fluke 2000T Transmitter features three modes that change the strength of the signal to provide accurate results:
- High: for normal energised and de-energised circuits
- Low: for precision tracing; this mode reduces coupling to nearby wires and metal objects
- Loop: for closed loop de-energised circuits
The Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro Wire Tracer Kit is a highly versatile, highly precise, highly efficient cable location and troubleshooting set.
