The Fluke 1AC is essential for any electrician. This portable, easy-to-use voltage detector is a simple, reliable way to check for the presence of AC voltage on an electrical system.
If there's voltage present on the circuit under test, the 1AC's tip will illuminate red and it will also start to sound an audible beeping tone. There's usually no need to make contact with the outlet; as you get close, the 1AC will start to pick up the voltage. Please note that it is possible to disable the beeper if the green start-up button is pressed for longer than two seconds; to reactivate the beeper the Fluke 1AC II VoltAlert Voltage Detector need only be switched off and then switched back on again.
This Fluke voltage detector can detect the presence of AC voltage from 200 to 1000V. To ensure detection is always accurate, the 1AC will constantly test itself using Fluke's Volbeat technology.
Fluke 1AC II voltage detectors are CAT IV 1000V safety rated and are supplied as standard with a two-year warranty.
