Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester (1664MFT)
The Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester is the most sophisticated model in Fluke’s 1660 Series of Multifunction Installation Testers. It can be used to test the safety of electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial environments, as well as verify the correct installation of fixed wiring and EVSE testing.
Out of all of Fluke's new multifunction testers, this model includes by far the most new features. One of the most impressive is the inclusion of the Auto Test function. Using this mode, the 1664 FC will automatically perform all required insulation tests in one sequence (that's 8 tests) - this reduces the number of manual connections, decreases the possibility of making errors and - overall - will help to reduce your testing times by up to 40% compared to Fluke's older multifunction testers.
For added safety, it features an Insulation PreTest function. This is the only multifunction on the market with this mode, it will warn you whether you're making mistakes; if an appliance is connected to the system under test, the tester will automatic stop the insulation test and provide a visual warning, ensuring your safety and that you don't accidentally damage essential equipment.
EVSE Testing
The firmware has been updated to support 6mA RDC-DD tests in accordance with international standards IEC 60964 and IEC 62752. Together with Fluke’s FEV300 Test Adapter, (sold seperately) this new ability enables comprehensive, accurate, and reliable testing of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). It allows you to conduct all necessary tests in one go and meet the evolving needs of the EVSE market.
There's so much more to the Fluke 1664 FC - this multifunction tester will perform absolutely every test you need to check electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial environments. Test procedures include insulation, continuity, loop and line resistance, RCD trip time, prospective earth fault current, prospective short circuit current and much more.
Better still - the MFT has built-in memory and download capabilities, allowing you to store your measurement results and view them back later on a PC (Requires optional Fluke DMS or FlukeView software - sold separately) Alternatively, why not use Fluke Connect to interface with your smartphone and view all your data on there instead?
Fluke Connect
The 1664 FC is Fluke Connect enabled - it can wirelessly interface with smartphones and tablets, plus other Fluke Connect testing tools, to share information. With Fluke Connect, you can Share video directly to others on your team using ShareLive video calling on your smartphone running the Fluke Connect app, or you could use FlukeCloud storage to automatically store and retrieve your testing results, no matter where you are! Watch video below for more details on Fluke Connect.
All this is included in a rugged, reliable and easy-to-use unit. If you're a professional electrical installer, this tester is an excellent choice.
