The Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer has the capacity for up to two sensors but is provided with one sensor of the type specified (please note that additional sensors are available for purchase). Each of the sensors included with these models is supplied with an NVLAP accredited certificate of calibration for temperature and humidity and includes complete data and NIST traceability. Each sensor also features a memory chip embedded into its housing to which calibration constants are saved. This memory chip allows sensors to be used interchangeably whilst removing the need for a Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer for sensor recalibration.
The user may assign a sixteen-character identifier to each sensor allowing him/her to use the sensors interchangeability whilst ensuring that collected data is saved in reference to the sensor used to attain it. The Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer features two sensor inputs allowing it to measure the temperature and humidity of two separate locations simultaneously. As sensors can be connected to the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer’s inputs via extension cables, it is possible to measure these entities for locations up to 100 feet away from the instrument.
Measurements acquired using the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer can be saved to its extensive onboard memory. It has the capacity to hold up to 400 000 date- and time-stamped readings. Further to this, as the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer includes an RS-232 interface it is possible to send data acquired by this tester to a printer in real-time. This interface also allows it to be connected with numerous other Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometers.
Alternatively, the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer may be connected to a computer up to 100 feet away via an RF modem. Once this instrument is connected to a PC it may be used with Fluke’s LogWare III Software (NOT included) to conduct real-time logging and data storage. It can also be used with Fluke’s MET/CAL ® Software (NOT included) to facilitate system integration.
Alternatively, the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer can be connected to a PC, or other Fluke thermo-hygrometer units, wirelessly over the internet using an OPTIONAL Ethernet connection (please call for details).
As well as measuring temperature and relative humidity, the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer features a number of maths and statistical functions, including:
The Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer will store the daily summary statistics (min, max and maximum rates of change) for the most recent sixty days.
In addition to this, it is possible for the user to set alarms for temperature, relative humidity, the rate of change in temperature and the rate of change in relative humidity. An alarm may also be set for instrument fault conditions. The user may also customise the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer’s response to a breach of its alarm limits; this instrument may be set to issue a visual alarm (flashing display), audible alarm (beeping), or a 0-12V alarm output which is used to trigger a process control system.
These features add to the versatility, adaptability and practicality of this instrument, allowing the user to tailor the tester to the application. Also adding to the convenience and ease-of-use of the Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer is its large, backlit display. This display facilitates the user’s ability to view data gathered by both inputs simultaneously. This information may be viewed graphically and/or statistically; up to sixteen display settings may be created and saved to the instrument. They are easily accessible via a single button.
Finally, also adding to the practicality of Fluke’s 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer is the inclusion of a backup battery which enables the tester to maintain measurements for up to sixteen hours after a power failure.
The Fluke 1620A-X-256 DewK Thermo-Hygrometer- Choice of Sensor is a multifunctional, efficient and adaptable tester. It is ideal for individuals carrying out relative humidity and temperature readings in multiple locations.
