Fluke 1577 Insulation Multimeter

All of the functionality of a portable digital multimeter combined with the abilities of an insulation tester. Why bother with two tools when you can use the Fluke 1577 and have one that does the job of both?

Shaped like a standard multimeter with portable, handheld design, large-size, high-quality LCD screen the 1577 also has a rotary dial for easy testing procedure selection, a dedicated button for activating the backlight, test lead ports and a built-in data hold function which temporarily stores the last value taken on the screen.

The meter's insulation testing procedure includes selectable testing voltage of 500V and 1000V and it can test insulation from 0.1MΩ to 600MΩ. This mode also includes live circuit detection which prevent the test from going ahead if voltage higher than 30V is detected (ensuring you're protected at all times) and will auto-discharge capacitive voltage for even more user protection.

With the built-in multimeter, the Fluke 1577 is also capable of testing AC/DC voltage, dc millivolts, AC/DC current, resistance and continuity.
