The Fluke 1552A-12-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer with Datalogging, like its sister product, the Fluke 1552A-12 Calibration Stik Thermometer, has a probe diameter of 6.35mm and a probe length of 305mm. Similarly, it is also capable of measuring temperatures between -80°C and 300°C, however, unlike its sister product this instrument is equipped with the capability to log up to 10 000 time-stamped temperature measurements.
It can be set to log readings at the following intervals:
The Fluke 1552A-12-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer can be set to display and log readings in either °C or °F and to a resolution of 0.1, 0.01 or 0.001°. Measurements are viewable via the backlit, LCD display which may be rotated up to 90°, ensuring that readings remain viewable in a variety of circumstances.
Via the display, the user can also see the stability indicator. This feature will alert the user when the temperature source is stable enough for an accurate and reliable measurement to be conducted; prior to the temperature source reaching stability, this feature will indicate whether the temperature is rising or falling.
Other features which work to preserve the accuracy and reliability of this instrument include the low battery indicator and the stop-measure function. These features work to prevent the user form conducting inaccurate and unreliable readings caused by low battery power. In addition to this, the Fluke 1552A-12-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer includes an Auto-Power-Off function which can be set to extend the instrument’s battery life. This function is capable of extending battery power for up to 300 hours.
Furthermore, the thin-film RTD sensor is both more resilient than a traditional mercury thermometer (the potential for mercury spills is eradicated) and is not affected by heat loss caused by stem conduction, ensuring that measurements remain accurate. Moreover, this sensor requires an immersion depth of only 7cm/ 2.8” and does not need to be surrounded by external conditions that match those of its original calibration in order to attain the same level of precision.
The Fluke 1552A-12-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer has an accuracy of ±0.05°C across its full range. This specification accounts for a variety of uncertainty components, including drift, for up to one year. Therefore the displayed temperature is the accurately measured temperature and the user does not need to make additional calculations in order to account for variables.
The Fluke 1552A-12-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer is supplied with an NVLAP-accredited and NIST-traceable calibration. The unit, including the probe and display module, are calibrated as one system and can be easily recalibrated using the included three-point calibration function.
The Fluke 1552A-12-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer with Datalogging is a practical, accurate and reliable instrument. Its extensive measurement and storage capabilities, as well as its compact, portable and intrinsically safe design (ATEX and IECEx compliant), make it an ideal alternative to traditional mercury-in-glass thermometers. It is suitable for use in a variety of environments including the outdoors, areas where explosive gases may be present, and processing plants. The Fluke 1552A-12-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer is ideal for process manufactures of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food or petroleum products, where inaccuracies of temperature can result in erroneous volumetric measurements.
The Fluke 1552A-X Calibration Stik Thermometer is part of Fluke's series of 155XA Thermometers, please find below the technical specifications for these models.
