Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester Kit Overview
The Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester Kit includes the Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester as well as a selection of accessories including test leads, alligator clips, a hard carry case, and power/ interface cables. The Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester can measure resistance up to 1TΩ and has a maximum selectable test voltage of 5kV. Its selectable test voltages increase in increments of 50V between 250V and 1000V and in increments of 100V between 1000V and 5000V. In addition to insulation resistance, the Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester can measure capacitance and leakage current and features a Ramp function for breakdown testing. Results are displayed on the large, digital/ analogue LCD. Finally, the Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester is CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V safety rated and compliant with IEEE 43-200. It is ideal for preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

Fluke IR3000FC Connector Overview
The Fluke IR3000FC Connector fits over the Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester’s IR port; it facilitates communication between the tester and the Fluke Connect App installed on your smartphone or tablet. The Fluke IR3000FC Connector is compatible with Android (4.4 and above) and iOS (4s and above) smartphones/tablets. It can be upgraded via USB.
When the IR3000FC is used with the Fluke 1550C Insulation Tester and Fluke Connect App, you can:
- Wirelessly start and stop testing: this improves user safety
- Perform PI/DAR timed ratio tests: Fluke Connect’s TrendIt graphs make it easy and quick to identify moisture problems and contaminated insulation
- Establish accurate baselines and relevant historical comparisons as the Fluke Connect App provides temperature compensation
- Store results in Fluke Connect thereby reducing paperwork whilst maintaining an audible data trail
- Conduct historical tracking, data trending, and trending of assets on-site, and share data with colleagues to make real-time decisions
