This set includes the Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester, standard accessories, and a Fluke IR3000FC Connector. The connector facilitates communication between the insulation resistance tester and the Fluke Connect App, thereby improving worker safety, as well as the efficiency and ease of tasks. Please see the video below for further details.
The Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester can measure resistance up to 1TΩ and has a maximum selectable test voltage of 5kV. Its selectable test voltages increase in increments of 50V between 250V and 1000V, and in increments of 100V between 1000V and 5000V. The Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester is CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V safety rated and is ideal for conducting insulation resistance tests on high-voltage equipment including switchgear, motors, generators, and cables.
To improve accuracy, the Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester is equipped with a guard system that eliminates the effects of surface leakage current on high-resistance measurements. In addition to insulation resistance testing, the Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester supports capacitance and leakage current measurement, features a Ramp function for breakdown testing, and timer settings (up to 99 minutes) for configuring timed tests. Long battery life means it can deliver over 750 tests per charge.
Measurements are displayed on a large, digital/ analogue LCD and can be stored on the Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester. When used with the Fluke IR3000FC Connector, data can be sent to the user’s smartphone/tablet via the Fluke Connect App. Additionally, via the display users can see warning alerts for present line voltage; in these situations, the Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester also provides a voltage reading up to 600V AC/DC.
The Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester’s ability to deliver all the test voltages specified in IEEE 43-200, combined with its PC interface and capacity to communicate with the Fluke Connect App (when used with the IR3000FC Connector), makes it ideal for preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
The Fluke IR3000FC Connector facilitates communication between the Fluke 1550C 5kV Insulation Resistance Tester and the Fluke Connect App. It fits over the tester’s IR port and is compatible with Android (4.4 and above) and iOS (4s and above) smartphones/tablets. The Fluke IR3000FC Connector can be upgraded via USB.
When the Fluke 1550C Insulation Resistance Tester is used with the Fluke IR3000FC Connector and Fluke Connect App, users can:
