The Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer has been optimised to measure, graph and record PRTs, thermistors and thermocouples. In order to facilitate these measurement capabilities it includes three sensors with the following ranges:
The Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer includes a number of features optimised to improve its accuracy. It includes precision resistors and a highly stable reference voltage source, ensuring that it remains accurate despite surrounding temperatures. This instrument has also be subjected to tests in extreme temperatures and harsh vibrations to ensure that it maintains both its accuracy and functionality in challenging environments.
In addition to this, the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer utilises a current reversal technique in order to eliminate thermal EMFs, thereby improving the accuracy of its readings.
The accuracy of measurements and temperature conversions are also maintained by the inclusion of an INFO-CON memory chip to which probe configurations may be saved. The Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer automatically identifies the probe that has been connected and will subsequently recall the probe's corresponding calibration information, ensuring that it is correctly adjusted to perform accurate measurements. Further to this, it is possible to lock probes to certain channels (using a password) in order to maintain system calibration traceability.
Probe configurations can be created and uploaded to the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer using its RS-232 interface and the included Fluke 9940 Toolkit Software. This software may also be used to send commands directly to the instrument, as well as log and organise data gathered by the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer.
The Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer is able to record up to twenty-five measurements with statistics. It has a standard sample rate of one per second, which may be improved to one per 0.3 seconds when it is used in Fast Mode.
Measurements can be viewed on the 128 x 64-pixel, backlit, LCD display. Via this display, the user can also view graphs which are plotted and scaled in real-time. The operator may utilise a dedicated function button to change the resolution of the graph, allowing the user to monitor processes over time and determine temperature stability quickly and without statistics.
The Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer is able to accommodate RTD/PRTs, thermocouples and thermistors, allowing the user to tailor the thermometer to the application. He/she may also use the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer with the included DC adapter in order to extend the instrument’s period of operation in between charges. Using just three AA batteries the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer can provide the user with up to twenty hours of functionality. This instrument also includes a number of power-saving settings which can also be used to extend the instrument’s operating time.
As a result of all these features, functions, accessories and the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer’s design it is particularly well-suited to serving as a temperature reference when used with bath calibrators, dry-block calibrators, thermowells, clean rooms, engines, heat exchangers, furnaces and freezers. It is ideal for calibration, loop checking, plant start-up, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair applications.
The Fluke 5627A 12” Precision Thermometer and RTD Temperature Probe is optimised for accuracy and durability. It has a temperature range of -200°C to 420°C with an accuracy of up to ±0.025°C.
This instrument conforms to the standard 385 curve making it suitable for use with DIN/IEC RTD meters. It is also supplied with ITS-90 coefficients and a calibration table in increments of 1°C. The Fluke 5627A 12” Precision Thermometer and RTD Temperature Probe is calibrated at -196°C, -38°C, 0°C, 200°C and 420°C and is provided with an NVLAP-accredited report of calibration (lab code 200706-0).
In terms of its durability, the Fluke 5627A 12” Precision Thermometer and RTD Temperature Probe is constructed using a coil suspension element designed to ensure that it is resistant against shocks and vibrations. Further to this, it includes a mineral-insulated sheath with a minimum bend radius of 19mm, increasing its flexibility and longevity.
The Fluke 5627A 12” Precision Thermometer and RTD Temperature Probe is an accurate, durable instrument with an extensive temperature range. It is ideal for extending the capabilities of the above Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer.
The Fluke 2373-LTC Lemo to Universal Thermocouple Adapter includes a precision thermistor and supports reference junction compensation.
It can be used to extend the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer’s scope-for-use by facilitating a connection between this instrument and any thermocouple with a mini thermocouple jack.
The Fluke 2373-LTC Lemo to Universal Thermocouple Adapter is a practical addition to the Fluke 1523-256 1-Channel Handheld Thermometer.
