FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope
The FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope is an industrial infrared- and visible-light-imaging inspection tool designed to aid professionals with identifying problems in difficult-to-access locations such as underground electrical distribution vaults.
Thermal & Optical Imaging
The Videoscope is equipped with a 160 x 120px thermal imager with a 57° x 44° field-of-view and a <100mK thermal sensitivity. It can measure temperatures between -10°C to +400°C with an accuracy of ±3°C/3%.
The FLIR VS290 also includes a 2MP visual camera with an 83° field-of-view and bright LED work light. The user can choose to view footage in IR, Visual or MSX imaging modes. The MSX imaging mode overlays digital details, captured using the 2MP camera, onto the corresponding thermal image; thereby increasing overall picture clarity and improving the ease and efficiency with which the user can identify the source of faults.
Additionally, the FLIR Videoscope offers five selectable thermal colour palettes (Iron, Rainbow, Grey, Below Alarm, and Above Alarm) and isotherms/ colour alarms for identifying problem areas. Images can be saved to the supplied 16GB SD card and subsequently uploaded to a PC via a USB-C cable. Once uploaded, images can be analysed and organised into reports using FLIR’s Thermal Studio Software (NOT included).
Rugged & Reliable
This rugged and versatile videoscope is ideal for use in demanding utility, manufacturing and building environments. The base of the FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope has an ingress protection rating of IP54. Moreover, the FLIR VS290 has a CAT IV 600V safety rating making it suitable for conducting electrical inspections.
OPTIONAL 2m Rectangular Camera Probe
The OPTIONAL 2m rectangular camera probe is field-replaceable. It easily fits through small gaps and can be used to inspect electrical distribution vaults, large gearboxes, motors, attics, and crawl spaces. Furthermore, the OPTIONAL 2m rectangular camera probe has an IP54-rated body and an IP67-rated camera tip.
