The FLIR TG297 Industrial High-Temperature Thermal Imaging Camera is a diagnostic tool suitable for inspecting and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. It is ideal for high-temperature industrial applications such as measuring the heat of glass furnaces, kilns and forges.
The FLIR TG297 features a 160 x 120px IR resolution (19 200 pixels) and a 57° x 44° FOV. It has a 30:1 spot ratio allowing the user to conduct measurements from a safe distance, and a bullseye laser pointer that can be used to identify the measurement area precisely.
The high-temperature filter allows the camera to measure and image temperatures up to 1030°C (1886°F). Visual and thermal images can be viewed with temperature readings on the bright, 2.4” colour display. The user can also alter the thermal colour palette to enhance the details most relevant to his/ her application. It features the following selectable colour palettes: iron, rainbow, white hot, black hot, arctic and lava.
It includes an MSX image enhancement function which can be used to create detailed, clear thermal pictures by embossing visual images (captured using the integrated 2MP digital camera) onto corresponding thermal images. This enables the user to accurately pinpoint the source of faults as well as gauge the severity of the problem.
Images can be saved to the 4GB SD card. Up to 50,000 images can be saved to the 4GB SD card allowing the user to save before and after pictures demonstrating the problem and the repair. Images can be transferred to a compatible smartphone, tablet or PC via Bluetooth or a USB connection.
The FLIR TG297 Industrial High-Temperature Thermal Imaging Camera’s simple user interface and ergonomic handle ensure that it is easy to operate. Furthermore, this IR imager's compact, durable design makes it easy to handle as well as transport. It is also suitable for use in challenging industrial environments as it has been drop-tested from 2m and features an IP54 rating. Additionally, the FLIR TG297 is equipped with a bright LED torch for seeing into the darkness and/or hard-to-reach areas. It is supplied with a rechargeable Li-ion battery.
