Combining the capabilities of the FLIR Si2-PD and FLIR Si2-LD, the FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager is a highly sensitive, easy-to-use ultrasonic camera ideal for pinpointing costly gas leaks, mechanical bearing faults, and partial discharge (PD). Delivering best-in-class performance, decision support, and fleet management, the FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager is the perfect tool for maintenance managers, reliability specialists, thermographers, substation managers, and NDT technicians working in manufacturing, electrical, power, or utilities industries.

New Features

Building on the capabilities of the FLIR Si124 Acoustic Camera, the FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager can locate leaks and partial discharge from a safe distance of 200m (656 ft). In addition to ensuring staff safety, a long detection range enables the identification of tricky-to-access issues. Moreover, the FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager can identify leaks five times smaller and partial discharge thirty times smaller than previously possible. The FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager also offers several new features including:

Like its predecessor, the FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager is equipped with 124 microphones arranged strategically to deliver maximum performance; offers automatic frequency tuning; and sports an ergonomic design for one-handed operation.   

Partial Discharge Detection

The FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager both identifies small PD faults from a significant distance and provides on-camera and software-based severity assessments and classification of partial discharge faults. Delivering best-in-class decision support, the FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager also offers recommended actions. As a result, teams can make informed decisions and quickly compile a response/repair plan.  

Leak Detection

Similarly, the FLIR Si2-Pro Industrial Acoustic Imager features an integrated leak measurement and cost analysis function for industrial gases including ammonia, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, methane, helium, and argon. Consequently, you can both identify little leaks from a long distance and rapidly prioritise the repair of the costliest issues.

Bearing Fault Analysis
