Building on the success of its predecessor, the FLIR Si124-PD Industrial Acoustic Imager, the FLIR Si2-PD Industrial Acoustic Imager can detect partial discharge faults thirty times smaller than previously possible and from a safe distance of 200m away from the issue. In addition to this, it includes the following new features:

  • 12MP digital camera
  • 8x digital zoom
  • 1280 x 720px, 5-inch colour screen
  • Identify, classify, and assess the severity of PD
  • Built-in LED lights
  • Fleet Management functionality

Advanced Partial Discharge Detection

124 microphones strategically arranged for high performance combined with a 12MP digital camera, and 8x digital zoom, ensures the FLIR Si2-PD Industrial Acoustic Imager can locate and classify PD faults, as well as assess the severity of these defects from up to 200m (656 ft). Such a long detection range not only enables the identification of tricky-to-access issues but also ensures staff are kept safe when surveying dangerous equipment.
