The FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Imaging Camera is an ultrasonic camera intended for locating compressed air and vacuum leaks. To this end, it features 96 MEMS microphones; offers a detection distance of 130m; and is equipped with cost analysis functions. There are two versions of this acoustic camera available: one with Wi-Fi and one without Wi-Fi.
Fitted with 96 MESM microphones complemented by advanced algorithms and a 20kHz-100kHz frequency range, the FLIR Si1-LD delivers high sensitivity equivalent to acoustic cameras with more microphones. It can detect compressed air and vacuum leaks from distances of up to 130m. The FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Imager detects ultrasonic sound emitted by these problems, converting them into a sound map which is overlaid in real-time onto a digital image of the scene captured using the integrated 12MP camera. As a result, maintenance engineers can pinpoint the source of gas/vacuum leaks quickly, easily, and from a safe distance. Moreover, a band-pass filter facilitates manual frequency tuning enabling precise inspections; while noise suppression technology ensures the FLIR Si1-LD remains effective in loud industrial environments.
The FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Camera includes onboard analysis features and is compatible with FLIR analysis and reporting software.
The FLIR Si1-LD’s real-time leak quantification function further streamlines maintenance routines. This in-built software calculates both the leak rate and the leak cost per year. Consequently, maintenance teams can make informed, data-backed decisions about prioritising repairs.
Acoustic images may be exported to the FLIR Thermal Studio Suite Software for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. Transfer of images from the camera to the software may be facilitated via a memory stick or USB data cable.
The Wi-Fi-enabled version of the FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Camera can also be used with FLIR’s Acoustic Camera Viewer Cloud service to conduct online, in-the-field analysis and reporting.
Lightweight, intuitive, and optimised for single-handed operation, the FLIR Si1-LD enables easy, efficient inspections across large facilities.
The FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Imaging Camera is a highly sensitive, extremely efficient, and very easy-to-use ultrasonic leak detector that will help industrial plants and facilities reduce both their carbon footprint and energy bills.
