The FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter is an easy-to-use, reliable, and high-quality pin-based moisture meter suitable for professionals involved in moisture remediation, pest control, home/ building inspection, and floor installation.
To ensure accurate moisture measurements, the FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter supports a library of eleven material groups, including timber, drywall, and concrete, to which the meter can be set. These material groups can be accessed via FLIR’s website by scanning the QR code on the back of the meter with a smartphone. Please see the video below for a brief overview of this function.
Getting Started with the FLIR MR55
Additionally, when conducting pin moisture measurements, the FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter automatically compensates for ambient temperature. It also includes a Self-Test function to verify that the FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter is operating correctly.
The FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter can also be used to measure ambient temperature and relative humidity. All measurements are indicated on the backlit display; they can be frozen on the screen using the Data Hold function. Further to this, wireless Bluetooth connectivity allows users to view data on a smartphone or tablet with the FLIR Tools App installed.
The FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter’s firmware can be updated via the micro USB port. Moreover, to limit downtime and ensure longevity, the FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter’s electrode pins and AA batteries can be easily replaced.
The FLIR MR55 Pin Moisture Meter is a rugged and reliable moisture meter ideal for use alongside FLIR thermal cameras.
