The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System combines the capabilities of a FLIR MSX infrared camera with a moisture meter and hygrometer. It is an ergonomic, easy-to-use and effective troubleshooting tool suitable for locating moisture and building envelope issues.
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System includes a high-performance, 160 x 120px thermal sensor. It is also equipped with FLIR’s Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging Mode (MSX®), which overlays visual details onto a full thermal image, improving image clarity and allowing the user to identify problem areas quickly and precisely.
Additionally, the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System includes Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM™) technology and an integrated laser pointer, allowing the user to locate and target the exact source of the issue. Please see the video below for further information regarding Fluke’s IGM™ technology.
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System functions as both a pin and pinless moisture meter: it includes a pinless moisture sensor for non-invasive scanning of areas and an external pin probe for taking exact moisture measurements. The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System is also compatible with a range of OPTIONAL moisture probes allowing the user to tailor the tool to his/her requirements.
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s integrated hygrometer allows the user to measure air humidity. Additionally, the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s temperature/ humidity sensor is field replaceable, meaning that downtime can be kept to a minimum. The combined capabilities of the integrated hygrometer and temperature/ relative humidity sensor work to expedite troubleshooting.
Moreover, the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s ability to measure multiple environmental factors enables it to calculate the following parameters: grains per pound/ grams per kilogram, vapour pressure, and dew point.
Data and thermal images captured using the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System can be organised and analysed using the FLIR Tools App and Software.
Images and data can be downloaded to a PC using the USB cable to be analysed and organised into reports using the FLIR Tools Software.
Similarly, as the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System is METERLiNK® compatible, data and images can be sent to the user’s smartphone/ tablet wirelessly to be organised into reports using the FLIR Tools App.
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s thermal imaging and environmental measuring capabilities, combined with its easy-to-use intuitive interface and FLIR Tools and METERLiNK compatibility, make it ideal for locating, identifying and documenting moisture and building envelope issues. It is a complete, efficient and precise troubleshooting tool.
