With a super-smooth frame rate, excellent thermal resolution and a range of professional tools made specifically for use in firefighting applications, FLIR's K53 thermal camera is a must-have for any professional firefighter.
FLIR has updated the K-Series Thermal Cameras to improve the precision and speed of critical decision-making. First responders will benefit from:
These enhanced features work together to provide more efficient navigation and orientation in low and non-visibility areas and prevent user disorientation As a result firefighters can deliver more efficient and safe search and rescue operations, as well as faster fire location.
The FLIR K53, which is the upgraded version of FLIR's K33 firefighting thermal camera, is designed from the ground-up to enable firefighters to work quicker, more effectively and safer in dangerous environments.
With the power of the FLIR K53, you'll be able to:
Unlike many other commercial-grade thermal cameras on the market which offer frame rates from appox 9 to 15Hz, the FLIR K53 has super-smooth 60Hz frame rate. in practice, this means that the image on the screen of the K53 refreshes much faster, adapting to the changing environments that firefighters will find themselves working in.
This firefighting thermal camera also has enhanced thermal resolution compared to the FLIR K33. Images are captured on this camera with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, packing every image with even more temperature data than the K33 could. The thermal sensitivity of this camera is also further upgraded to <30mK, ensuring you get as accurate temperature results as possible.
Worried about blurry thermal images that make it hard to see where you're going? With FLIR FSX, you don't have to be.
By using FSX mode, the FLIR K53 firefighting thermal camera will actively blend together both digital and thermal images. This means that you get all of the temperature detail you need, while still maintaining your view of an environment, complete with clear edges and detail around objects.
This technology helps you to more accurately move through an environment, is better for identifying structural problems and helps you to capture higher-quality images.
