FLIR CM275 IGM™ Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter

The FLIR CM275 IGM™ Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter is a combined infrared imager and electrical measurement tool suitable for inspecting, servicing and troubleshooting plant equipment, circuits and facilities. Thermal imaging/ Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM™) allows the user to identify hot spots and faulty components from a safe distance, enabling him/her to pinpoint faults quickly and therefore conduct electrical tests more efficiently and effectively. The FLIR CM275 IGM™ Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter includes a laser pointer and crosshairs for determining the exact location of hot spots.

The FLIR CM275 IGM Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter’s infrared imaging capabilities also allow the user to user to conduct non-contact temperature measurements; it has an IR resolution of 160 x 120px.

Once the user has identified the source of a potential fault, he/she can perform an array of electrical tests to diagnose the issue. The FLIR CM275 IGM™ Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter can perform AC/DC voltage, AC current, capacitance, diode, and resistance measurements. It is also equipped with advanced functions such as a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) mode, True-RMS readings, and Low Impedance (LoZ) tests, and can measure both high and low voltages, making it ideal for diagnosing complex systems.

The FLIR CM275 IGM Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter’s AC current measurement range can be expanded to 3000A AC using FLIR Flex Clamp accessories. Also expanding this instrument’s scope-for-use is its narrow jaw and built-in work lights which allow the user to access tight spaces, as well as, conduct tests in dark locations. The FLIR CM275 IGM™ Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter has a safety rating of CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V.  

Measurements and thermal images can be saved to the FLIR CM275 IGM Thermal Imaging Datalogging Clamp Meter’s internal memory. They can be downloaded wirelessly to the FLIR Tools App or the FLIR InSite Workflow Management App, allowing the user to create the necessary documentation quickly as well as share findings with relevant persons such as colleagues and clients.
