This pocket-sized infrared-imaging and visible-light imaging camera can be used to inspect buildings, HVAC/R, and electrical systems. The FLIR C3-X Compact Thermal Imaging Camera is a professional troubleshooting tool with an integrated LED torch, 3.5” touchscreen display, and optional Wi-Fi connectivity.

Thermal & Optical Imaging

The FLIR C3-X Compact Thermal Imaging Camera’s IR sensor has a resolution of 128 x 96px and thermal sensitivity of 70mK. It can detect and measure temperatures between -20°C and +300°C to an accuracy of ±3°C/3%.

Additionally, the FLIR C3-X includes a built-in 5MP digital camera. MSX® Imaging mode overlays details captured by the digital camera onto the corresponding thermal image, thereby improving the clarity of the picture and increasing the speed and ease with which the thermographer can identify the source of faults.

The C3-X also includes Visual, Infrared and Picture-in-Picture imaging modes, as well as four selectable thermal colour palettes: Iron, Grey, Rainbow and Rainbow HC.

Images can be saved to the camera’s onboard memory (capacity: up to 5000 images). They can be downloaded to a PC via a USB interface for analysis and organisation into reports using the thermographer’s preferred software, for example, FLIR Thermal Studio.

Ergonomic & Easy to Use

This small camera easily fits inside a pocket or crowded tool bag. It is rugged, having been drop-tested from 2m, and is resistant to dust and water ingress (IP54). Furthermore, the 3.5” touchscreen display and simple user interface ensure that it is easy to operate.  

Optional Wi-Fi

Optional Wi-Fi provides FLIR Ignite™ Cloud Connectivity. Images can be uploaded to the FLIR Ignite™ Cloud for convenient storage, organisation and backup. Thermographers can add annotations to images to draw attention to and explain diagnosed issues. Moreover, these images can be easily and securely accessed: thermographers may send clients a password-protected link via email.
