FLIR AX8 Thermal Imaging Camera
For Continuous Condition and Safety Monitoring
Install the FLIR AX8 into an electrical cabinet, process/manufacturing area, data centre or any other temperature-controlled environment to constantly monitor machinery efficiency and to prevent unplanned, costly outages and service interruptions.
Incredibly compact but powerful enough to generate excellent quality visual/thermal images and video, the AX8 uses thermal technology to pick up on heat distribution in the environment. When pre-set alarm thresholds are exceeded, this temperature sensor will automatically sound the alarm so action can be taken immediately.
The FLIR AX8 is Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP compliant for easy integration into an existing network. Digital inputs and outputs are available for alarms and control of external equipment and analysis/alarm results can be sent to a PLC.
This temperature sensor also features FLIR's unique MSX technology, allowing it to actively blend thermal and digital images to create vastly improved video output. This technology makes it significantly easier to pinpoint exactly what the camera is pointing at (for example the unique components in an electrical cabinet).
