The FLIR A700 Thermal Core supports process control, quality assurance, condition monitoring, early fire detection, and elevated skin temperature (EST) screening. It has an IR resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and ±2°C temperature measurement accuracy.
The kit includes a FLIR IR Lens f = 17mm (24°) with four M4 holes on four sides, a UNC ¼”-20 connection on two sides, sealed M-style connectors, a built-in web interface, digital I/O, Gigabit Ethernet, and Power over Ethernet (PoE).
The Smart Sensor and Advanced Smart Sensor Configurations enhance it by adding capabilities for remote monitoring, alarming, and analytics applications. The Smart Sensor includes advanced thermal imaging, edge computing, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) integration. The Advanced Smart Sensor Configuration includes FSX (Flexible Scene Enhancement) technology, black-body correction, enhanced analytics, and compressed radiometric streaming.
When paired with the appropriate lenses and configurations, the sensors provide advanced measurement analysis tools, including ten spot meters, ten boxes, three delta measurements, isotherm, iso-coverage, reference temperature, and hot/cold detection. The core supports Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, REST API, and MQTT protocols, facilitating seamless integration into various industrial systems and web services.
The FLIR A700 Smart Sensor Configurations offer improved product quality, increased productivity, enhanced maintenance efficiency, and improved safety. Their ability to detect elevated body temperatures contributes to health monitoring applications; however, they are not intended for medical diagnostics.
