FLIR A500f Advanced Smart Sensor Thermal Camera
The FLIR A500f Advanced Smart Sensor Thermal Camera is a high-resolution, easy-to-integrate, ergonomic visible-light and infrared imager optimised for outdoor applications such as condition monitoring and early fire detection. In addition to crisp thermal imaging, the camera offers temperature analytics, alarms, edge computing, and industrial internet of things (IIoT). It is also compatible with an array of video management systems (VMS), making it suitable for integration into existing monitoring set-ups.
Thermal Imaging
The FLIR A500f has an IR resolution of 464 x 348px and a frame rate of 30Hz. Support for visible-light imaging (resolution: 1280 x 960px) means digital details can be overlaid onto thermal pictures, using the MSX function, to increase clarity throughout the field of view. Additionally, the thermal camera includes FSX (Flexible Scene Enhancement) technology which increases the contrast in even-temperature scenes and enhances edge detail in low light. This camera will deliver consistent, accurate thermal imaging in a variety of harsh conditions and includes polygon, polyline, and line measurement tools for improving the definition of areas of interest or object curvatures.
Interfacing & Communication
Edge computing and industrial internet of things (IIoT) enables easy integration into new and existing networks, it supports widely adopted IIoT protocols, such as MQTT and REST API in XML and JSON formats, ensuring that it is ready for the fourth industrial revolution.
Moreover, this thermal imaging camera is compatible with HMI/SCADA (using Modbus TCP client and server and Ethernet/IP) and is ONVIF S compliant. As a result, it can be easily integrated into standard security VMS and NVR solutions with remote control of pan/tilt. You can also adjust the FLIR A500f’s motor focus remotely via Ethernet to ensure accurate temperature measurements of objects at different distances. Furthermore, when integrated into VMS systems, thermal and visible streams may be viewed simultaneously or independently. The A500f supports compressed radiometric streaming to FLIR Atlas SDK, allowing you to conserve bandwidth.
Ergonomic
It features durable housing capable of withstanding temperatures between -30°C and +50°C. It offers resistance against challenging environmental conditions and protects the sensor from theft.
The FLIR A500f Advanced Smart Sensor Thermal Camera is a precise and practical visible-light and infrared imager ideal for protecting assets, improving safety, maximising uptime, and minimising maintenance costs.
