The A40 smart sensor cameras are suitable for scenarios requiring built-in analytics and alarm capabilities for condition monitoring and early fire detection. When integrated into cloud and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions, the FLIR A40 helps protect assets, improve safety, maximize uptime, and reduce maintenance costs.
Equipped with a wide-area, non-contact temperature sensor, the A40 delivers up to 320 × 240 (76,800 pixels) resolution with ±2°C accuracy. The camera also features FLIR’s patented MSX® Image Enhancement for improved detail (not available in the A40 95° version).
Integration is seamless, as the thermal smart sensors communicate with standard industrial protocols and video management systems, including HMI and SCADA. The cameras have a lightweight, IP66-rated design with M8/12 connectors and multiple mounting options.
