FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers

The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers are available in two models which vary in regards to their accuracies. For further information, please see the following table.

Both of these models have a temperature range of -20 to +60°C (-4 to +140°F) and will wirelessly stream temperature measurements to a local PC or the FilesThruTheAir EasyLog Cloud.

A connection to the specified Wi-Fi network and/or the FilesThruTheAir EasyLog Cloud is set up during the configuration of the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers. To establish these connections the user needs only connect the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers to his/her PC and utilise free EL-WiFi-WIN Software (NOT included) to program the instruments as required. This software can also be used to specify the location to which temperature readings should be stored: either a local PC or the FilesThruTheAir EasyLog Cloud. Additionally, this computer program enables the user to specify the logging rate (every ten seconds, ten minutes or twelve hours) and can be used to program upper- and lower-limit alarms. If either of these limits is breached, the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers will alert the user via an alarm indicator.

Once the configuration is complete and the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers have been connected to the desired Wi-Fi network they can be placed anywhere within the network’s range. Furthermore, if this connection should falter the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers will continue to record measurements (for a maximum of thirty days when the sample rate is set at ten seconds) until communication with the PC or FilesThruTheAir EasyLog Cloud can be re-established.

Readings can be viewed on the operator’s PC using the aforementioned software. Data is also viewable via the FilesThruTheAir EasyLog Cloud which is accessible via any internet-enabled device (provided it is connected to a Wi-Fi network) or through the FilesThruTheAir App. For a quick introduction to the FilesThruTheAir EasyLog Cloud, please see the following video.

The FilesThruTheAir EasyLog Cloud can be used to monitor and manage multiple data loggers as well as view, analyse and graph the logged data and historical data. It can also be utilised to set-up email alerts and access event logs.

In addition to its versatile logging capabilities, the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers have also been designed for physical versatility and adaptability. For instance, they are freestanding units but they may be attached to walls and surfaces using the included mounting bracket, thereby ensuring they do not become hazards or obstructions, and allowing daily work processes to continue as normal.

Furthermore, it is possible to power the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-T/+ Temperature Data Loggers using batteries or a mains power supply (location-appropriate mains power adapter is required), again allowing the user to adapt the instrument to the environment.
