The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers can be used to monitor the temperature and relative humidity of domestic and work environments. Both of these environmental monitoring systems are able to measure temperatures between -18°C and +55°C, and relative humidity between 0 and 100%. These models differ in regards to their accuracies, please see the following table for further information.

The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers feature an array of configurable features including the logging intervals. The user can set the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers to record readings at rates ranging from every ten seconds to every twenty-four hours. He/she can also program the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers to perform immediate, delayed, triggered or push-to-start logging.
In addition to this, the user can configure the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers to include up to sixteen alarms. These temperature and humidity monitoring systems also feature options for cumulative alarms, pre-alarms, delayed alarm triggers and alarm hold. The alarm hold freezes the display to retain the alarm conditions; this data is retained even when conditions return to within the pre-programmed ranges.
When alarms are triggered, the high-accuracy model’s (FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Logger’s) onboard alarm sounder will alert the user. Additionally, both the standard- and high-accuracy models feature an alarm indicator, as well as three LEDs that indicate the status of the unit. The current, minimum and maximum readings are also indicated via the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers’ displays.
Configuring the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers is easy as additional software is not required, neither is an internet connection. The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers are plugged into a PC/ Mac using a USB cable and are configured via http://EasyLog.local which can be accessed by any standard web browser. The user may configure the following fields as necessary:
- Logger and channel names
- Measurement units
- Logging rate and start mode
- Alarm thresholds (high, low, pre-alarm, cumulative)
- Alarm delays
- Alarm holds
- Display and LED indicator modes
When the logging period is complete the user can reconnect the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers to a PC/Mac via a USB cable to view, analyse and save recorded data. He/she is also able to access the event log and see the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers’ status.
The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers are able to log up to 1 000 000 readings (500 000 results per channel). These measurements can be uploaded to the EasyLog Cloud. Please see the video below for a brief introduction to the EasyLog Cloud.

In addition to viewing, analysing and saving data, upon reconnection the user is able to stop or reconfigure the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers.
These versatile, customisable, easy-to-use temperature and humidity monitoring systems are supplied with a wall mounting bracket as well as two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries which are capable of powering the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-2/+ Temperature & Humidity USB Data Loggers for up to one year.
