The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers are simple-to-use, configurable and precise temperature sensors and data loggers that can be used to monitor the ambient temperature of living and working environments.
Both of the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers are able to measure temperatures between -18°C and +55°C. However, these models differ in regards to their accuracies; please see the table below for further details.

The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers are capable of logging in excess of 1 000 000 readings and can be configured to log measurements at intervals ranging from every ten seconds to every twenty-four hours. It can also be programmed to perform immediate, delayed, triggered or push-to-start logging.
Furthermore, it is possible to program the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers to include up to sixteen user-specified alarms and features options for cumulative alarms, pre-alarms, delayed alarm triggers, and alarm hold. The alarm hold freezes the display, retaining data from when the alarm was triggered even when temperature levels return to normal.
The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1+ Temperature USB Data Logger - High Accuracy's (ONLY) onboard alarm sounder will alert the user when acceptable limits have been breached. Both the models include an alarm indicator and three coloured LEDs for indicating the status of the instrument. Via the display, the user is able to view the current, minimum and maximum readings.
These versatile and customisable temperature monitoring and logging systems are easy-to-setup and do not require additional software. The FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers are simply plugged into a PC/ Mac via a USB cable and are configured using a standard web browser. An internet connection is not required to configure the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers, the user need only enter 'http://EasyLog.local' into his/her address bar in order to alter the following fields:
- Logger and channel names
- Measurement units
- Logging rate and start mode
- Alarm thresholds (high, low, pre-alarm, cumulative)
- Alarm delays
- Alarm holds
- Display and LED indicator modes
Measurements saved to the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers, as well as the unit’s status and event log, can be viewed by plugging the units into a PC using a USB cable. The user can view, analyse and save data via his/her web browser; he/she can also upload data to the EasyLog Cloud. Additionally, when the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers are reconnected to the user’s PC/ Mac, he/she is able to stop and/or reconfigure these units if necessary.
Finally, the FilesThruTheAir EL-SIE-1/+ Temperature USB Data Loggers have a battery life of up to one year (using AAA alkaline batteries) and are supplied with a wall mounting bracket.
