Use this vibration meter with industrial machinery such as motors, bearings, fans, pumps, rotating machinery or for specific applications such as plant maintenance to determine if equipment is working correctly.
To use, simply attach the included magnetic sensor to the machinery you wish to test. The meter can then be used to measure velocity (RMS), acceleration (peak) and displacement (peak-to-peak) to determine if the machine is working as it should or if there are issues such as misalignment, poor balancing or structural compromises.
The sensor is attached to the main unit via a 0.2m (7.9") coiled cable, allowing the user to hold the meter while the sensor is attached hands-free to a machine. The meter has a built-in LCD screen which will show results and an automatic data hold facility will freeze the current value on the screen when the measurement button is released.
This product has an automatic power down function after 1 minute of inactivity and a low battery indicator.
