The Extech TM100 can carry out temperature measurements via the use of a connected type K or J thermocouple.
A portable, lightweight and easy-to-use tester, the TM100 is great for quickly evaluating temperature in Fahrenheit, Celsius or Kelvin. When using a type K thermocouple with this device it features measurements range of -328 to 2501°F (-200 to 1372°C) and when a type J thermocouple is equipped the meter can measure from -346 to 2012°F (-210 to 1100°C). All measurements are carried out with basic accuracy of ±(0.15% rdg + 1°C).
The main body of the TM100 contains a large, backlit LCD screen for viewing the tester anywhere regardless of lighting conditions. This screen shows the overall temperature reading dependant on which measurement unit is selected and can also show MIN/MAX/AVG readings. The TM100 also includes a built-in data hold function which temporarily stores the current measurement on screen for quick and easy reference.
Additional features of this thermometer include an offset key for relative measurements and an auto power down function (which can be disabled as needed).
This product is compatible with Extech's TP875 Optional Type K Bead Wire Temperature Probe and TP200 Optional Type K Clamp Temperature probes. The TP875 allows the device to measure temperature from -58 to 1000°F and the TP200 allows users to clamp onto applications to carry out superheat/sub cooling temperature measurements from -4 to 200°F. Both the TP875 and TP200 are sold separately.
