Record both the temperature of air and temperature from another specific point with this dual-channel, datalogging digital thermometer from Extech.
The Extech TH30 includes two sensors; the first is a built-in sensor inside the main body of the TH30 which calculates air temperatures. The second sensor comes from a probe which attaches directly to the TH30's main body - this probe can then be placed in a specific area to measure and log air temperatures. Both values are stored simultaneously on the TH30, making this instrument excellent for comparison work.
This datalogging digital thermometer is completely programmable - you can program the language (with 6 options available), the sampling rate at which the logger will store date, set a start delay time, set alarms and also incorporate security features (password protection) to prevent unauthorised changing of settings. Up to 48,000 individual temperature readings (24,000 for each channel) can be stored on the Extech TH30's internal memory.
When you're done logging, simply use the TH30's built-in USB port to connect it to PC. Data can be downloaded as a PDF report or an Excel spreadsheet, complete with all relevant temperature readings and a trending graph for easy referencing.
Additional features of the Extech TH30 include long batter life (approx 3 months), a MAX/MIN mode for calculating maximum and minimum temperatures over a period of time and a built-in LCD screen so you can read findings in real-time.
