To use this datalogger it must be first configured on PC using Extech's included software. To do so, plug the USB into the PC, choose your sampling time and alarm thresholds and remove from the PC. To stop recording, insert again into the PC and download your testing information.
This logger cannot be activated without insertion into a PC USB port.
The Extech TH10 Temperature USB Datalogger is used for testing temperatures within an environment as it allows you to simply clip the logger to a surface and leave it to do its job, calculating temperatures at different times.
Capable of recording up to 32000 readings, the Extech TH10 can be programmed to detect temperatures at different time intervals. So whether you need to test temperature every 2 seconds or every 24 hours without having to send in an engineer, the Extech TH10 has you covered with easily-programmable temperature readings. It’s ideally suited for areas such as those that need to be constantly kept cold such as in supermarket refrigeration, as the device also clearly tells you when temperatures are too high or too low (which is again configurable).
One of the best features of TH10 is the supplied 3.6V Lithium battery, which is easily capable of operating for almost a year with absolutely no charging. The USB nature of the datalogger also means you can take the data recorded in the device and analyze it further using compatible software by plugging it into Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and other systems.
